A comfortable barn climate contributes directly to the health and well-being of your livestock. Investing in proper ventilation pays for itself through improved animal performance and reduced heat stress.

Ventilation is especially important during the summer months. At temperatures as low as 22°C (72°F), cows already start to eat less and produce less milk. Heat stress can also lead to reduced fertility, increased embryonic loss, and a higher incidence of clinical mastitis. Swaving’s new energy-efficient fans help prevent heat stress by ensuring optimal air circulation throughout the barn.

To create a healthy barn climate, a minimum air speed of 2 m/s is required. Our upgraded fans deliver an impressive 39,900 m³ of air per hour, providing the airflow needed for effective cooling. With a 1.30 m diameter, the fan can be connected to either a transformer speed controller or a variable frequency drive (VFD).
